Our Beliefs:

Oak Grove Christian Church is a nondenominational, Bible-based Christian Church composed of immersed believers in Christ, accepting the Bible as the revealed Word of God. We recognize Christ as the only head of His Church (Col. 1:18; Eph. 1:22, 23) and accept the Scriptures as the only authority for faith and practice. We do not claim to be the only Christians, but desire to be Christians only, by wearing His name (Acts 11:26) and exalting Christ in word and deed (Col. 3:17).

We proclaim the same terms of admission to the church as did the apostles. They declared that one must:

1. Hear the gospel (Rom 10:17)
2. Believe in Christ and His Word (Acts 16:31; Mark 16:16)
3. Repent of his sins (Acts 17:30)
4. Confess Christ before men (Matt. 10:32; Rom 10:10)
5. Be baptized (Acts 2:38; Rom. 6:3-6); and the Lord added to His Church (Acts 2:47)

A Godly life (1 Peter 1:15, 16) and faithfulness to Him (Rev. 2:10) are imperative to eternal life.

In matters of government the congregation is completely autonomous, with an elected board of elders and deacons to direct the spiritual and business affairs of the church (Titus 1:5-9; 1 Tim 3:1-13; Acts 6:1-6).

We join hands and hearts with all baptized believers in the plea for Christian unity of all followers of Christ by the restoration of New Testament
